Menstrala is a cultural movement created by Vanessa Tiegs. The word Menstrala is free to use, but the artworks, images, writings, and photographs remain fully protected under copyright law.
This page outlines what is permitted, what requires permission, and how to request licensing for any use of the Menstrala oeuvre.
What You May Do Without Permission
These uses are always allowed:
- Use the word “Menstrala” in conversation, writing, teaching, or cultural discourse
- Discuss the movement in academic, artistic, or personal contexts
- Reference Menstrala conceptually without using any images or artworks
The word is universal. The works are not.
What Requires Written Permission
The following uses require explicit written authorization from Vanessa Tiegs:
- Reproducing Menstrala artworks in print or digital form
- Publishing Menstrala photographs in books, articles, or online platforms
- Exhibiting Menstrala works in galleries, museums, or events
- Using Menstrala images in academic work including theses, dissertations, or presentations
- Commercial use of any kind

AI‑Generated Derivatives
AI use is strictly prohibited. This includes:
- style‑transfer
- contentstyle‑transfer outputs
- reinterpretations
- derivative images
- training datasets
- any AI‑assisted transformation of Menstrala materials
AI cannot be used with Menstrala content.
Prohibited Uses
